Happy New Year 2021!

New Years Eve

I’m just taking a moment to wish you and yours a very Happy New Year!

May 2021 be all we hope for and dream of with plenty of love and delightful surprises along the way.

Until next time, let’s drink a cup of cheer and sing along here with the Tenors. (The words are below.)

“Auld Lang Syne” — which roughly translates to “times gone by”– was written by Scottish poet Robert Burns in 1788 and is thought to have been based on a Scottish folk song.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

And never brought to mind?

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

And days of auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,

For auld lang syne.

We’ll take a cup of kindness yet

For (days of/the sake of*) auld lang syne.

Happy New Year!

Joanne
