One of the things I love about life is that you just never know what big and wonderful thing is going to happen next. I know we all work really hard; we have goals and dreams and wishes and intentions and it’s fabulous when they come true…
But now and then something amazing…something that you hadn’t even imagined just drops into your lap. For example…
A few months ago the publicity director at Health Communications, Kim Weiss, told me she got her own book deal featuring the wonderful pictures of sunrises and sunsets she had been taking and posting over the past couple of years. She asked a number of her friends (including me) if they would share with her what a beautiful sunrise or sunset means to each of us.
So I wrote, “When I see the sunrise, no matter what is going on in my life, I know that life continues. Maybe I am grieving the loss of a close family member or pet, or I am anxious or fearful of something coming up in my day; the sunrise reminds me there is always a new beginning. Now. And Now. And Now.”
And what a group of friends to be associated with! Listen to this list: Richard Bandler, Jean Houston, don Miguel Ruiz, Jr., Candace Bushnell, John Bradshaw, Jack Canfield, Judith Orloff, Catherine Lanigan, Arielle Ford, and many others.
I am so grateful to be included in such a beautiful book called Sunrise Sunset: 52 Weeks of Awe and Gratitude. You can pre-order copies by clicking here. It would make a lovely holiday gift for family and friends. Believe me, I’m ordering plenty of them. 🙂
Thank you Kim for including me in your beautiful book!
Warmly, Joanne
